The theme of the 3rd IFPA is “the gender body in performance / politics through the performativity of gender”.

«The gender body is a body that concerns the choice of sexual identity of each person. It is an active possibility which in the dominant patriarchal logic is put forward with various bio-calculations of a new positivist type. But in the post-feminist era and in the queer and post-queer situation the dynamics of gender choice is a dimension of politics. Politics through gender performativity (Butler) is a structural issue against the new biopolitics of control and discipline of the body.»
